‘Grace’ Simmental Cow – original oil painting
This is an original oil painting of a Simmental cow, which I decided to name ‘Grace’ because of her beautiful, gentle features.
I spotted her in a field a few miles from my home in Suffolk. She had such a gentle but attentive look, which I hope I’ve managed to capture in the painting.
It is signed using an archival pen in the bottom right.
Painting size is 40.5cm x 40.5cm (16″ x 16″)
Frame size 51.7cm x 51.7cm.
It is painted in oil on a board prepared with two finely sanded layers of gesso, then primer.
