Symphony in Yellow – Day Lilies oil painting
This is an original oil painting of day lilies gently swaying in the summer breeze.
I love the simple shapes of lilies and the way that they can create such elegant shapes and patterns when arranged together. These four flowers remind me of the art nouveau period with their subtle elegance.
It is signed using an archival pen in the bottom right. The painting comes in a classic chunky frame that will suit most interiors and is ready to hang.

It is painted in oil on a board prepared with two finely sanded layers of gesso.
